I'd heard about this concept for years, and I remember seeing some videos a long time ago of some frankly ridiculous speeds coming from it, but wow. They're pushing RC gliders to speeds where swept wings are starting to become viable. All from wind shear at a hilltop.

Yeah, we had a thread a couple years ago by @anorlunda that started with that same video. Pretty amazing stuff.
